This is a non-governmental, non-profit organization whose primary objective is to promote health in terms of prevention and treatment of diseases that affect the population, especially those related to poverty.

For Project Once Trece It is essential to offer a quality medical service, with free advice and support in health-related areas, including the search for diagnostic and therapeutic resources that directly reach the most vulnerable populations. One of the main activities is to carry out HIV tests in a confidential, free and voluntary manner for the early diagnosis of this infection, with pre- and post-test counselling.

Likewise, education is part of its most important functions.

Through free training of medical personnel and health professionals in prevention, diagnosis and treatment for the control of HIV-AIDS infection, Project Once Trece It has been a reference in medical matters to stop stigma and discrimination in the health sector, promoting continuing medical education and addressing issues of scientific and social interest.

Making vulnerable communities visible through comprehensive medical care in indigenous populations, Persons Deprived of Liberty , the LGBTQ+ population, female sex workers, the trans population and people living in extreme poverty, has been a significant challenge, bringing quality health services and managing to overcome the challenges with determination and perseverance.

Organizing recreational activities and mass events has been another fascinating experience for Proyecto Once Trece where art, culture and entertainment have been valuable tools to raise awareness among the population about the importance of HIV prevention and promoting social inclusion.

Project Once Trece , beyond being a simple medical organization, is a conglomerate of experiences that help to forge a country that advocates for guaranteeing health, education, art and science. A cornerstone that fights for development, both in the personal and collective sphere. A safe place that defends the fundamental rights of equality and freedom for all. A space that promotes diversity and inclusion.

Our Objectives are:

  • Offer free advice and support in health-related areas, including the search for diagnostic and therapeutic resources that directly reach the most vulnerable populations.
  • Design prevention campaigns through talks and conferences in communities, schools, high schools, universities and companies, free of charge, in order to prevent and solve the problems generated by the multiple endemic and/or epidemic diseases that affect the Venezuelan population.
