About Us
Once Trece in response to the health crisis in Venezuela
We are a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization dedicated to promoting health—including prevention and treatment—among the populations most affected by poverty and social exclusion.
What We Do
Health, education, and dignity for those who need it most
Quality medical care
Medical services, free counseling and support, bringing diagnostic and treatment resources to the most vulnerable populations. We offer confidential, free, and voluntary HIV testing, along with pre- and post-test counseling.
Education and Training
We provide free training to medical staff and healthcare professionals on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of HIV, and we work to combat stigma and discrimination in the healthcare sector.
Visible Communities
We provide comprehensive healthcare to indigenous communities, people in prison, the LGBTIQ+ community, female sex workers, the transgender population, and people living in extreme poverty.
Art, culture, and awareness
We organize recreational activities and events where art, culture, and entertainment serve as tools to raise awareness about HIV prevention and promote social inclusion.
More than just a medical organization, Once Trece a collection of initiatives working toward a country where health, education, art, and science are the pillars of development. It is a safe haven that champions the rights to equality and freedom for all people, and a space that celebrates diversity and inclusion.
Our Goals
What we set out to do every day
To provide free health counseling and support, including assistance in accessing diagnostic and treatment resources that directly reach the most vulnerable populations.
Design prevention campaigns through free talks and lectures in communities, schools, high schools, universities, and businesses to prevent and address endemic and epidemic diseases affecting the population.
Organize recreational activities for street children, victims of domestic violence, and children with chronic illnesses or congenital disabilities.
Conduct prevention campaigns on social media, using short informational clips to guide the public.
