Water purification and deworming of the population at risk

Consuming contaminated water is highly detrimental to health.

In addition to containing soil, it contains heavy metals such as nickel, manganese, lead, chromium, cadmium, copper, and mercury.

It is a source of bacteria such as E. coli, V. cholera, Salmonella, Shigella, Helicobacter pylori , among others, viruses such as Hepatitis A and E, Rotavirus and Norovirus and parasites such as Amoebas, Hymenolepis, Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Cyclospora and Microspora.

The scarce supply of water suitable for human consumption has forced communities to use potentially contaminated water, exposing the population to serious health risks.

On July 28, 2010, the United Nations General Assembly recognized that clean drinking water is a human right essential for life.

In view of this problem, we have started a public awareness campaign through videos and audiovisual material that gives people at risk the tools to avoid consuming contaminated water and how to purify water through physical and chemical methods.

Additionally, deworming campaigns will be carried out for children and adults, using broad-spectrum medications.

We need to acquire suitable dewormers and antibiotics such as Nitazoxanide, Albendazole , Mebendazole, Ivermectin, trimethoprim / sulfamethoxazole and ciprofloxacin.

With your collaboration, you will help us obtain these medications.

You set the amount.
